Colyn’s signature sound evokes transmissions of emotion through soaring nostalgic memories; though you’ve never heard anything like this before. Endless textures and stutters of delayed synths drop into euphoric beats, each one more infectious than the last. Though he may seem new to the scene, and despite his young age, Colyn’s dedication to his craft is timeless.
He started producing 9 years ago and has been working ever since. His initial breakthrough came when popular duo ‘Tale of Us’ picked up his sound and started playing his music regularly.
With ‘Amor’ signing to his successful label and event concept ‘Afterlife’, he started to turn heads. Other Afterlife artists such as Mind Against, Fideles, Mathame, Vaal and Kevin de Vries strongly supported the record. Also Joris Voorn is a fan, playing it on Awakenings, his Spectrum Radio Show and even calling it ‘one of his favorite records of the year’.
Amor also appeared on the Kölsch and Rüfüs Du Sol Spotify playlists. Not long after, Tomorrowland chose it to feature as one of the soundtracks for their 2019 official Aftermovie.
